- Apply to the province the marriage was registered in
- First & last names of both parties in the marriage
- Date of the marriage
- Name of city or town the marriage took place
- Payment (fees vary by province, see below for specifics)
THINGS TO KNOW
- There are two sizes
- A small certificate (wallet sized) 9.5x6.4cm or
- A large certificate 21.6x17.8cm available.
- (For two separate prices depending on the province)
- The majority of organizations that require these certificates to change your name do not care which of the sizes you use.
- Most order between 1-3 Marriage Certificates
- To expedite the process of changing your name with government departments, companies, organizations and institutions.
- Service fees may apply and may vary by office & province locations.
- If the prices here do not reflect what you were told or paid, please let us know so we can stay up to date!
- It is against postal regulations to send cash through the mail
- Pay by credit card or money order (no personal checks)
- Call or e-mail ahead to double check what name to write on your money order.
